Quick and Easy Smoked Salmon Appetizer Recipes: Smoked Salmon Kisses

We have three Easy Smoked Salmon Appetizers recipes for your holidays. They are quick and fun to make, and very entertaining if you have friends over. We divided this Friday’s episode into three separate videos so it is easier for you to watch and prepare them. These Smoked Salmon Kisses are this week’s second part of our show and, like the Smoked Salmon Suckers, are very quick and easy to prepare. The delicate perfume of the wasabi, along with the red onion, capers and horse radish will hypnotize your guests and they will never be able to guess your ingredients. Follow our recipe, or our video and enjoy this delicious dish as a snacks or as an appetizer paired with bubbly Prosecco sparkling wine for a great night of gourmet dining.

Smoked Salmon Kisses

Delicious, easy and quick to make. These Kisses will enhance your party as an appetizer or as a snack.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Sliced Smoked Sockeye Salmon
  • ½ Cup Goat’s Cheese
  • Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tbsp minced Red Onion
  • 1 Tbsp finely chopped Capers
  • 1 Tbsp Creamd Horse Radish
  • 1 Tsp Wasabi
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped Capers
  • ½ Baguette or any other bread of your liking
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Butter

Instructions

  1. Place bread on Food Processor cut in small pieces and grind until crumbs form.
  2. Heat Olive oil and Butter. Add bread crumbs, horseradish, and wasabi to the pan. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and brown. Cool down.
  3. In a small bowl mix goat’s cheese, minced red onions and a splash of lemon juice.
  4. Place a slice of smoked salmon on a dish. Thinly spread approximately 1 oz of goat’s cheese then firmly make a roll with the salmon, then roll on bread crumbs mix.

Recipe Notes

Note: - You can also substitute bread crumbs with sesame seeds. - For a better presentation, cut the salmon kisses laterally.
